BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY
These are my very early predictions for the twenty cinematographers who may be in line for an Oscar nomination in the "Best Cinematography" category. Many have been to the ceremony before, so perhaps they will gain favour with voters. The high-profile cinematographers are also the ones selected to sit behind the camera alongside celebrated directors for the "serious" Oscar-friendly films, so it is no coincidence that winners in this category are often nominated for Best Picture.
